ALWAYS REMEMBER/SIMPLE STORIES

Good morning, friends! Have you seen the Remember collection from Simple Stories. Oh, my goodness...it is absolutely beautiful and I had so much fun creating this album for my sister. Her birthday is in a few days and I plan on gifting this to her. She has a beautiful little family and I enjoy preserving her memories for her since she isn't a scrapbooker.

The color scheme of this beautiful collection caught my eye and I especially love the beautiful flowers, too. It's so lovely.

My sister's pictures worked perfectly for this collection. Their clothing meshed so well together with all the beautiful patterns and embellishments. I like to cut my die cut flowers in half to make them last! They look great across the top of the photo and they help fill in the white space to frame the photo better.

I stuck with a specific design throughout the album. You will notice how I add a journaling card and embellishments to the left-side of the pages and the pictures are on the right-side. I really think it adds so much to the album and overall flow of the pages.

LOVE that camera die cut so much. I embellished it with a decorative brad and a few stickers. I especially love the chipboard cluster of embellishments slightly overlapping the photo. Isn't it beautiful? I used the "cherish" rub-on over the picture with a few enamel dots. I just love it so much.

For the left-side, I layered a few patterned papers together and added the photo strip rub-on and the "LOVE" foam stickers. Isn't this lovely. I just love layering embellishments together. I added lots of layers to the adorable photo on the other side.
The foam stickers are another favorite of mine... I decided to add the "today" foam stickers at the bottom of the photo. Next, I added the decorative brad to the center of the "o" and added a few floral die cuts. Ah, isn't this spread lovely?

I decided to do something different with this page... This was a first for me...I used a strong adhesive to mount down the chipboard frame over a plastic page... I LOVE that it makes this album a little Chunky and it adds so much charm!

Here is another fun spread I created with the journaling cards, die cuts, enamel dots and chipboard butterflies for the decorative brad pack. LOVING all the layers. I punched two holes through the big tag, added another layer of flowers and the butterfly to make a fun insert for the album. The ribbon is from The Stamp Market.

Here is the back of the tag. I used foam squares to pop up the "celebrating you" banner sticker up off the tag for dimension.

I like cutting the cut-apart sheet to use the grid squares as part of the album. they are great for adding a few embellishments to fill in some of the white space.

What do you think? Isn't this lovely? I hope you found this album inspiring! You can purchase the Remember collection at A Cherry on Top! Click here to start shopping through my affiliate link. The price you pay will not be higher...I may receive compensation for the referral.

SUNNY SKIES AHEAD/SIMPLE STORIES

Hello, friends! Who’s ready for some Fresh Air? I know, I am. We have had a crazy winter. Some days were warm and others…it was so cold! I’m excited to bring some fresh air to you today using the beautiful Fresh Air collection. This collection is super pretty, and I had so much fun creating this little album using all of the beautiful products.
I used a few sheets of patterned paper from the 6x8 Fresh Air Paper Pad to cover the inside of the book. Next, I cut some tags from the cut-apart sheet and embellished them with a few decorative brads and ribbon/string. I mounted the “hello today” foam sticker onto the pocket and added the decorative brad and sun die cut! Isn’t this fun!?

This sunny printed paper is my FAVORITE! It’s so happy, isn’t it. I used the paper with a piece of the Blush Color Vibe cardstock to create a fun pocket page. I layered a few pieces of Foam stickers and chipboard to add dimension to the pocket. Super cute, and fun!

I always save my scraps when I’m working in my SNAP albums because they are perfect for making fun borders/photo corners. They are also perfect for matting photos. I had fun with this page.

Isn’t this page, flipping amazing?! I am not really great with interactive pages, but I am working on it and I absolutely love this. I cut the journaling cards so two 4x6 were still attached horizontally so I could fold it in half to create this page. Then, I added some foams stickers and die cuts.

I love spring! It’s my favorite time of the year and it’s perfect because it’s not too hot or cold. And most importantly, I LOVE spotting all the lovely flowers in my neighborhood during my walks with Moxie. I always take my phone just to take pictures! I don’t have a green thumb, but I appreciate the efforts my neighbors put into their gardens. Their flowers are beautiful.
The chipboard pages are perfect for adding a touch of mix media to your SNAP albums. Pair them up with the stencils with some acrylic paints, rub-ons and layered chipboards and you have a gorgeous divider for your album!
This page came together in a snap! I went through my die cuts and rub-ons to embellish these adorable pictures of me with my fur-baby. Notice how I used the enamel sticker dots on the sun’s cheeks. Super fun.

Here are a few pocket pages I created using the journaling cards, chipboard, and decorative brads. Isn’t this lovely?

Do you enjoy making SNAP albums? Seriously, they are perfect for creating albums in a SNAP. It will probably take you longer to select the pictures you want to use than the time it takes to make an album of your own…but I find that once my pictures have been printed, I whip through these pages quickly.

I hope I inspired you today! Thank you so much for visiting. For more inspiration, visit my blog by clicking, here!

DISCOVER/49 & MARKET

Happy Friday, friends! What is your favorite background color these days? Mine is yellow...it makes me happy and I don't know why, but yellow really makes my layouts pop. Today, I'm sharing a layout I created for A Cherry On Top's monthly Youtube hop.

Have you discovered 49 & Market's Wherever collection, yet? It's so pretty and I just love it so much. So far, I have created two layouts using this beautiful collection. It's perfect for documenting your adventures.

My favorites from this collection include the rub-ons and laser die cuts. They are so pretty! I mean, seriously...the details are absolutely incredible.
I added a few transparent filmstrips to the back along with some rub-ons. Lots of beautiful embellishments and layers makes my heart happy.

What do you think? Isn't this lovely?

I used a layered stencils, stamps, and stencil to create the butterfly. You can see the process video for this layout, here

I hope I inspired you today! Isn't this design beautiful? I hope my sister loves it as much as I love it. :) You can purchase the Wherever collection at A Cherry on Top!
