Happy Easter

Hello scrappers! This week, Zva Creative and Authentique Paper teamed up for a fun weekly blog hop. Be sure stop by Windy's blog and the Authentique blog for some spring inspiration. I had such a fun time creating this layout. I've had this picture since last Easter and never got the chance to scrap it. Sometimes, I don't have the right papers and embellishments so I'll wait until I have the right products to scrap those pictures I hold dear to my heart.

Last spring I had momom make an Easter vest and bow tie for Edward. He looked absolutely adorable!! He's so skinny, I'm thinking he might be able to wear it again this year! I'll have to try it on him this week.

Supplies: Patterned paper: Authentique Paper, Stickers: Authentique Paper, Tag: S.E.I., Twine: May Arts, Jewels: Zva Creative, Pen: Signo-Uniball, Glue: Helmar USA, Adhesives: Creative Memories, Mists: Tattered Angels.

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to leave a comment on each of the blogs this week for a chance to win some fabulous bling!  Have a great day!

How about a little respect?

Hello everyone. Happy hump day. Today I have a quick and easy layout to share with you. I love how this layout turned out and I love the papers by Pink Paislee. The colors and patterns are awesome... They simply rock and I was lucky enough to receive their papers in this month's "Respect" kit by Scrapbooking from the inside out. If you haven't heard of this kit club, you should check it out! Each month, the designers are required to create 4 layouts that work with the monthly kit's emotion. I'm always inspired by what the team creates. It's amazing how we are each given the same exact kit and we all create something completely different.

Here's one of my layouts about being "respected" or not... I should say. Click here to see what the other designers created this month!

Supplies: Patterned paper: Pink Paislee, Echo Park, Die cuts: Pink Paislee, Stickers: Echo Park, Washi tape: Prima, Stamp: Glitz Design (pen), Jewels: Zva Creative, Glue; Helmar USA, Mini stapler: Tim Holtz.

Don't throw that away

Hello scrappers. Nicole here with a few layouts. This month I decided to go a little green. No, not literally... I'm all about recycling and saving the trees so I thought it would be fun to incorporate that into my scrapping. For my first layout, I simply trimmed the outer edge of my sticker borders to use on my layout. You know that edge that remains in the back after you peel the layout. You can carefully cut around the images for a fun frame for your layout!

Supplies:
Glitz Design "Color Me Happy" Papers
Glitz Design "Color Me Happy" Washi Tape
Glitz Design "Color Me Happy" Paper Layers
Glitz Design "Color Me Happy" Cardstock stickers

And for my second layout I stamped my butterfly images onto the white side of the packaging and then I used scissors to cut them out. This is such a quick and easy way to create an embellishment for your layout.

Supplies:
Glitz Design "Love You Madly" Papers
Glitz Design "Love You Madly" Washi Tape
Glitz Design "Color Me Happy" Washi Tape
Glitz Design "Love You Madly" Whatnots
Glitz Design "Hello Friend" Stamps
Glitz Design "Love You Madly" Cardstock Stickers

Other:
Zva Creative: Flower
Tattered Angels: Mist
Creative Memories: Cardstock
S.E.I.: Dragonfly charm & Tag
May Arts: Lace & Ribbon
Maya Road: Chipboard

Meme came!

Edward had such a great time with his Meme last week. She came up from Florida to visit for a few days. Edward didn't leave her side, the entire time that she was here. He was a bit sad that she had to leave, but I have some great photos of their time together. Here are my favorites!

Sparkly flower

Hello! Hope all is well. Today I have a fun ribbon flower tutorial to share with you. I had such a fun time creating this one of a kind flower for my layout. The next time you're short on flowers, check out your stash. I bet you might discover a new idea of your own!

In order to create this flower, you'll need a sparkler, a piece of ribbon and some glue. Simply wrap the ribbon around the sparkler and then trim the extra piece if needed and glue the ribbon around the edge. This was so quick and easy!

Supplies: Cardstock: Creative Memories, Patterned paper: Echo Park, Stickers: Echo Park, Chipboard alphas: American Crafts, Washi tape: Prima, Die cuts: Pink Paislee, Tulle Trim: Maya Road, Sparkler: Webster’s Pages, Mini stapler: Tim Holtz, Square punch: Creative Memories, Adhesives: Helmar USA.  Respect kit by SFTIO.

Cozy Crop House

Hello! This past weekend my mom and I went to the Cozy Crop House again. This was our second year in a row going and I had a great time. It was a much needed getaway for the both of us. We ate lots of good food and scrapped our hearts out. Mom completed an entire album using her cruise pictures. I was so impressed! We're talking about someone who hasn't scrapped in a year. I decided to work on some layouts for some upcoming pubs! Since I don't own a Cricut, I played with the one at the crop on the majority of my layouts. Although I like the Cricut, I'm holding out for the Cameo.
